EDI Consultant The Playshop Theatre, Allegheny College • Spring 2021

  • Assist in identifying areas of improvement in the production process of the play Native Gardens

  • Work with the student actors on unpacking storytelling moments that explored microagressions.

Assistant Production Manager • The Public Theater/New York Shakespeare Festival • Sept 2019-October 2021

  • Primarily assist the Production Manager and Associate Production Manager on planning the aspects of projects both as live and digital performances.

  • Collaborate closely within the various production departments and at large with the rest of the organization to ensure each theatrical production has a smooth process in its execution.

  • Assist in the organization of the department and projects, not limited to: the scheduling of meetings, the recording of notes, general filings, and creation of documents/spreadsheets for each project. Upon the return of live theatre, assist in the coordination of rehearsal spaces and getting the theatre ready for both technical rehearsals and first performance.

  • Assist in the hiring of Stage Managers for various digital projects in production.

  • Collaborate interdepartmentally across the organization to deeply question our systems and processes to understand where they uphold racist practices. Help propose more anti-racist practices in the digital space, and upon the return of live theatre.

Freelance Production Manager • Various Projects • 2019

  • Manage the production process for the individual projects.

  • Facilitate the flow of information between the production design fields. Collaborate with audio, lighting, scenery, props, and stage management to ensure a smooth load in process into the theatre. Assist in load-in as necessary.

  • Manage and contribute to the creation of a production budget, to supplement the budget of the project overall. Work and collaborate with the teams to have an artistic execution that can align with a project budget.

  • Schedule and lead production meetings.

Production Management Fellow • New York Theatre Workshop • July 2018-June 2019

  • Assist the Production Manager in the research and purchasing of items needed for the productions on stage.

  • Assist in the financial and administrative duties of the production office. Responsible for the processing of invoices, receipts, credit card statements, petty cash allocations, and sometimes payroll.

  • Functioned as Facilities Supervisor for the Next Door Season at 4th St. Theatre. Primary point of contact for all of the rental groups.

Lead Technician • Playshop Theatre, Allegheny College • 2015-2018

  • Worked as project lead on scenic carpentry construction, painting, and electrics in a theatrical house.

  • Supported the Technical Director on 11 productions throughout 3 seasons, and supervised special events held in the theatre.

Spanish Teacher Assistant • Allegheny College Languages Department • 2015-2016

  • Taught and assisted students in a Spanish lab session, with Spanish language exercises and lectures.

  • Created lesson plans and activities for the students.
